My research can be categorized into the following areas of interest: (1) Science, technology, engineering/computer science, and mathematics (STEM) education and workforce development; (2) STEM entrepreneurship and social innovation and (3) Algorithmic bias in analytics and data science.

In each of these domains, I employ a variety of quantitative and qualitative approaches to uncover novel patterns and insights. As a public policy scholar, I investigate each of these topics from the lens of social justice, social and economic impact, and racial equity. Ultimately, I investigate the relationship between data, technology, and entrepreneurship, for the social, and economic empowerment of underrepresented and minoritized people of color
